Reviews
Food: vegan French toast, vegan pancakes, Pork belly crackle bowl, scrambled eggs on toast.
Drinks: açai smoothie, berry smoothie, orange juice.
Catered perfectly to my child with dairy, egg and nut allergies. 2 vegan meals were absolutely fabulous! I’d happily order them again. The rest of my family also loved their meals. Portion sizes were very generous, I was sad to leave unfinished food at the table!
Drinks were good. Berry smoothie was a bit unpleasant with the amount of seeds, would’ve been fantastic strained. I really like the acai.
Thank you!
Visited the cafe for the first time and ordered their Vietnamese Pho ($15.5) and Pork Belly Crackle Roll ($12). We also ordered two coffees which were both great. However, the quality of the food was not great at all. The Pho had barely any flavour and had a very unpleasant smell of meat. Pork Belly Crackle Roll was a mission itself to eat and wish the chunks of meat were cut smaller. Overall, it was nothing what we had expected and was not worth our money at all.
I just had the coffee here - so can't comment on the food. However, wait staff was friendly and patient with us. Staff at till were nice too when I asked about food items for another visit (keen to try the waffle). Coffee was good too (and the latte art on point).
The little detail I enjoyed here was the fancy spoon with the cup (as seen in my review).
Terrible customer service and confusing menu. Ordered "curly fries" and they came out as sweet potato crisps. Ordered a vegan burger and it had no buns there was no mention of this on the menu. Tried to nicely explain to the waitstaff my confusion and was met with defensiveness and stonewalling, with no attempt to rectify, then was told that nobody else has ever been confused before. Very bad experience. My advice is to take feedback when offered and try to satisfy your customer. Seems like basic customer service to me.
I found this place mainly because my friend has food requirements.
It was a hot day, and since they had no a/c we choose to sit outside. The cafe is quite nice.
The service was friendly, and gave us menus and water on arrival. Our iced lattes came out fast. My friend had the Vegan Burger and I had the Classic Cheeseburger. I must say, I should have chosen something vegetarian or vegan. My friend’s looked awesome, very colourful and I had a taste of the vegan burger and it was very tasty. I have this thing against grilled onions and I should have omitted them. They gave me like three pieces of cheese all stuck together. But of an over kill. I liked it, but I wasn’t really fussed. But the sweet potatoe fries were amazing. Like my hubby said next time order something vegan -if they specialise in it. I’m glad I found my friend a place she can come and eat.
Cute cafe and the food was good, only complaint I have was how oily the vegan pulled jackfruit sliders were, the sweet potato fries were more like chips than fries and were dripping in oil, the sweet potato 'buns' had a layer of oil foam on top. The vegan big breakfast was good and the French toast was nice though!
Delicious and nutritious cafe fare and great value for money. Best atmosphere if you sit outside on a pleasant day. Heaps of choices for vegans and carnivores to enjoy. I love the Poke bowl and the vegan pancakes. Good coffee too! The lady with the red lipstick is such a friendly and welcoming waitress.
I've been to this cafe on several separate occasions and have always had a positive experience. They have fantastic vegan options (my favourite is the vegan big breakfast and french toast) and the staff are friendly.
